It is with deep sorrow that we learned of the passing away of former South African President Nelson Mandela, he was strong and very courageous person.

On behalf of the Royal Family of Jaffna and myself, I extend our deepest condolences to Your Excellency, the Government, People of South Africa and to the bereaved family members of the deceased.
