SHRI R. PRITHIVI RAJAH

With deep regret, we announce the sudden death of Shri R. Prithivi Rajah of Vellore, A Direct Descendant of HM King Sri Vikrama Rajasinha (1798–1815), the last King of the Nayaka Dynasty of Kandy – Sri Lanka. Shri R. Prithivi Rajah was the son of V. Ranaga Rajah and Rajalakshmi Devi. He passed away at the age of 72, on 16 January 2014. In Vellore Christian Medical College Hospital at 19.40 PM.
