His Excellency President Maithripala Sirisena visited Jaffna at the invitation of Thiru Angajan Ramanathan – Chief SLFP Organizer for Jaffna District on 28 July 2015. Later they visited the ancient Royal Temple Sri Kailasapillaiyar Kovil in Nallur and they were welcomed by the Chief Priest Sri K. Kurusamy Sarma Kurukkal. The President also participated in religious observances and received blessings.
