It is with great sadness that we received the news of the death of Elangai Anthony Naganathan, husband of Kumari and father of Devaki and Chittampalam. Son of Late Dr. E. M. V. Naganathan (Member of Parliament for Nallur) (Ilankai Tamil Arasu Kachchi - Federal Party), and Retnavathi Naganathan of Alaveddy. Brother of Late Mary Lakshmi Naganathan, Late Elangai John Naganathan, Dr. Anne Nirmala Chandrahasan and Carmel Indhira Handy. Brother-in-Law of Samuel Chandrahasan, Dr. George Handy and Sister-in-Law of Lakshmikanthi. Passed away on 03rd August 2022, in Colombo. The funeral took place on 6th August at A. F. Raymond Funeral Parlour in Colombo. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
