Your Majesty,
I am pleased to extend to you my very best greetings and most sincere wishes for continued good health.
At this very moment, my homeland is bearing witness to the unfolding of history. As I had written to you before explaining the situation in Sri Lanka there still seems to be an extensive amount of problems.
I would like to convey my deepest concern about the recent escalation of violence and civilian frustration in Sri Lanka. Unfortunately Sri Lankan authorities has so far ignored these recommendations as well as the urgent appeals made by international human rights organizations such as United Nations, Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch.
I urgently ask Your Majesty to apply some measure of pressure on both parties to reinitiate face to face talks in order to improve the situation of the people of Sri Lanka and prevent further loss of innocent lives.
I deem it my duty to help my country so that both ethnic groups will be united and live as one Nation in Peace. I thank you for your kindness and am looking forward to a long standing friendship between our two countries.
Please accept Your Majesty, the assurances of my highest consideration.
Yours sincerely,
Sgnd/. Remigius Kanagarajah of Jaffna
